| DAGALA
BOTANICAL TREK |
|
![]() |

|
The
Dagala Mountain range divides the spectacular
Valleys of Thimphu and Wangdi
and a trek in these parts is a rewarding experience.
The plateau on the range reaches heights of up to 4000m
and features several pristine lakes and supports alpine
flowers, Musk Deer and Pheasants. Yak herds can be seen
grazing these pastures in summer. This route also journeys
over high passes; the scenery from where is breathtaking.
The best times to visit this region are the months before
and after the monsoon season.
