| .Bhote Koshi
flows down from Tibet and is a real mountain
river having Class-IV and V+
rapids with deadly falls. Bhote Koshi is one
of the recently opened rivers & represents
the forefront of river rafting, and the put
in point is just three hours away from Kathmandu.
This river offers the most incredible two-day
white water rafting experience in Nepal
if not in the whole world. The expedition starts
from the Tibet border. While on a death-defying
ride you have the opportunity of admiring the
magnificence of Mt. Everest, Langtang
Lirung and many other soaring
giants. For those with time constraints but
desire a high level of white water experience,
Bhote Koshi is the only way you can enjoy the
wildest, fastest and craziest river. |

| It is the steepest river rafted in Nepal and
is technical and totally committing With a gradient of 80 feet
per mile, it is a full eight times steeper then Sun
Koshi which it feeds further downstream The rapids
are fast 4 ones with a few class 3 rapids in between At high
flows the rapids are a solid class 5 and consequences of mistakes
on the entire river are severe. |

| Day 1 |
Drive
from Kathmandu to Khadichaur, the first
day rafting starting point. After arrival
our chef will prepare Lunch and guides
will prepare the rafts and kayaks -
your hand will be required. Get set
and pay attention to our guides' briefing
about paddling and safety measures.
On the first day you will negotiate
only class III rapids i.e. a launching
exercise for the first day because the
real adventure starts the next day.
Drive back to Baseri (further up from
the starting point), set camp at a place
of peace and tranquility. Enjoy the
campfire while Nepali Ghorle sing and
dance and taste local made Rakshi (Local
Drink). |
| Day 2 |
After
breakfast, experience the adrenaline
rushes provided by the challenging class
V rapids "Frog on the Blinder",
"Midnight Express" and numerous
class IV rapids. "Wall" and
"Cave" are also encountered.
The scenery of the different mountains,
forests and ethnic Nepali cultural life
is marvelous and fantastic. Drive back
to Kathmandu after this thrilling experience
for a well-deserved rest . |
