The natural beauty of Sikkim is without compare and most people agree that it is heaven on earth. You will have two days to relax and take in the sights of Darjeeling including Tiger Hill (for breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga range), Zoological Park and the Ghoom Monastery. Carved out of the hillside, Gangtok the capital of Sikkim, is the next destination with friendly helpful people and clean streets.

After a good nights rest you can set out to explore Gangtok, Places to look out for are the renowned Institute of Tibetology, the Purba Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Gompa, an orchid sanctuary and several viewpoints to marvel once again at the Kanchenjunga range. A drive to Martham via The Rumtek monastery offers an insight into the life of rural Sikkim and the amazing terraced cultivation of rice on steep ridges. The town of Kalimpong is the next one of note, after having spent one night in Pemayangste, famed for its intricately decorated monasteries. The tour of Sikkim ends with a drive to Bhadrapur and a flight back to Kathmandu.
