We always stay in solar powered lodges when possible but if not we discourage showers and boiled water for drinking, we never use bottled mineral water and we suggest putting on an extra layer of clothing rather than another log on the fire! We only use gas or kerosine when camping, we avoid shortcuts through hillsides and fields preventing erosion and we are extremely consciuos of disposing of litter that our groups produce in an ecologically sound way.
