Himalayan Glacier
trekking, has more than twelve years experience
at helping travelers like you encounter diverse Nepalese
cultures, fragile eco-systems and the highest mountains
in the world. We excel in this field because we genuinely
love what we do and are committed to providing you with
the best services. Our culture and environmental sensitiveness
is not dictated by theory it is practical. That is why
when you travel with us, you are indeed good hands.
We are a small, personalized firm specializing in treks,
tours & expedition in Nepal. In time we have started
activities in our nearest neighbour Tibet, Bhutan
and India. When we first began ours, operating in 1992, we
were the only one company to stand against Porter Exploitation,
and because of this most of our staff have been with
us from the very beginning. This gives us a qualitative
advantage over our competition, and provides you, our
clients, with an experience of a lifetime. In places
like Nepal, money alone doesn't buy good service, relationships,
teamwork and trust, established over years of working
together, are what buy you a good experience. You reap
the benefits of the hard work we have put in over the
years. |

of future tourism in these destinations. We

Fabulous
Cuisine
All of our meals on trek are a combination of the best
local and regional cuisines. Our guides and cooks are
renowned for their culinary masterpieces and are happy
to accommodate dietary restrictions and/or allergies.
All of our cooks have a Hotel Management background.
They have improved over the years due to their experience
with our previous clients. When you stay in major towns
in the mountains we provide regional dishes in local
teahouse. "Good ingredients mean nothing without
careful preparation" so our guides ensure hygienic
food preparation standards when they don’t cook
themselves as part of the high standard service provided
by Himalayan Glacier Trekking.

Teamwork
It
has been our practice to work in a
team since our inception. A good homogeneous
team is our priority, the result of
which makes the impossible to possible.
Our leaders, Sherpas, cooks and porters
work as a well-balanced team. We recognize
them as the pillars of the company.
It all possible because we respect
them a lot, guarantee them jobs, provide
insurance and equipment, and pay them
well. We are the only one company
in town, which stands against "porter's
exploitation".

Our profession involves
respecting and taking pride in nature.
An adventure is not only for the present
but for the future as well. HGT has
been guided by the principle to conduct
its operation from generation to generation,
protecting the natural bueuty for the
ones to follow. Our guides and porters
are aware about current environmental
problems and are experts at conducting
eco-friendly operations. We have lunched
various eco projects in the last few
years in co- operation with KEEP www.keepnepal.org.
Our guides teach local farmers, lodge
owners and the porters (who are related
directly/in directly in tourism) about
how to protect our nature for the future
generations. In the last few years we
